Terms of Service
Effective 1 September 2026
The service
getDailySpot shows a small daily selection of venues per district and lets signed-in users check in when physically nearby, message people checked in at the same venue, and collect badges. The day resets at 04:00 local time; check-ins and messages from the previous day are deleted.
Your account
You must be at least 16 to use getDailySpot, provide contact details that are yours, and keep access to them. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
Acceptable use
Do not harass others through messages, misrepresent your location or identity, scrape the service, or attempt to bypass its technical safeguards. Messaging works only between people checked in at the same venue at the same time — that constraint is part of the product, not a bug to work around.
Venue information
Venue details (names, photos, ratings, addresses) come from third-party sources, primarily Google. We curate a daily selection but do not guarantee accuracy, opening hours, or availability. Visits are at your own judgement.
Warranty and liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
Changes and contact
